Company Leadership
More Shawn Gagnon
BIO
Shawn has extensive experience in leadership and management roles spanning over 25 years. His industry experience traverses retail, construction, special projects and service manager, culminating in the ownership of NCS in 2017. As President, he brings a unique skill set to lead a company that deeply understands a client’s needs, assesses the options to execute on them, addresses and solves the inevitable concerns, and focuses on delivering beyond expectations. Prior to ownership, he was an employee at NCS from 2007 -2017. He saw a small but viable company with an enormous potential for growth. In those ten years he helped pivot their focus from construction management to a higher order, implementing the ultimate customer service philosophy in the highly competitive HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general contracting space. After taking over as President in 2017, Shawn continued to refine NCS’s service culture, improve the processes and build a talented team. His philosophy is: “No two customers are the same, so it’s our responsibility to listen to their needs, provide educated solutions to help them navigate decisions, and deliver on the agreed upon plan so they can focus on with what is important to them.” As the company grows, he uses his time to refine and communicate the overall vision as a tool to attract and hire passionate individuals, seeking those motivated to go beyond the norm to create relationships that satisfy and retain customers. NCS’s rapid growth has allowed them to make the large-scale changes to the infrastructure with new technologies, state of the art marketing, EOS Operating System for leadership and growing his leadership team – so everyone has their eye on the exceeding every facet of customer expectations. Outside of work, Shawn and his high school sweetheart/wife Lara are raising three children, like to travel and spend time at their cabin participating in outdoor activities such as fishing and shooting. He also coaches STMA boys’ lacrosse and has coached in the STMA hockey and gymnastics programs. Their family continues to be active in the St. Michael Catholic School & Church.
